Elena Sinel is an internationally recognised social entrepreneur and award-winning founder of
Teens in AI. Committed to catalysing change through technology, she endeavours to empower
youth aged 12 to 18 to tackle real-world issues. Driven by a profound passion for AI and its
potential to generate lasting positive impact, she launched Teens in AI at the United Nations’s AI
For Good Global Summit to promote diversity and inclusion within the AI industry. In collaboration
with FTSE 100 companies and governmental bodies worldwide, she has successfully
incorporated future-oriented skills into today’s educational frameworks.
Before founding Teens in AI, she spent nearly a decade as an international specialist consultant
focused on poverty reduction, rural livelihood development, and poverty alleviation. Her work
spanned across Central Asia, the Balkans, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh, where she partnered with
international organisations like the British Council, UNDP, and the World Bank.
