Dr. Reem Ahmed Al Buainain

Dr Reem Al Buainain is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Academic Affairs at Bahrain Polytechnic. Dr Reem Al Buainain holds a PhD in Quality Management in Higher Education from the University of Southampton.

During the COVID-19 crisis Dr Reem Lead Bahrain Polytechnic, and in the second year of the COVID-19 Crisis, she was the Acting CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic. Dr Reem was a keynote speaker at many international conferences; she shared her academic leadership experience in change management. At a professional level, Dr Reem Al Buainain was the Director of quality, Measurement & Analysis and Planning at Bahrain Polytechnic. Before this, Dr Reem was the Chief of Academic Accreditation Standards and Licensing at the Secretariat General of the Higher Education Council. Dr Reem led the strategic planning committee at Bahrain Polytechnic and developed a strategic planning framework with comprehensive measurement and monitoring tools commended by many external bodies. She led programs accreditations at Bahrain Polytechnic.
