
Dalia Sarwat, Admissions, Marketing and External Relations Manager at Al-Maktoum College
of Higher Education. Dalia majored in Integrated Marketing and Communications and has two
minors in Business Administration and Psychology.
Dalia managed to acquire a professional diploma in marketing from the BPP London school and
a professional diploma in fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising in the United Kingdom.
A highly accomplished business development professional with over 12 years of diverse
experience in the world of marketing, business management, education and entrepreneurship. A renowned expert in family business, Dalia developed CrossTEN, the largest retail and multi-
purpose commercial center in East Cairo (Egypt). Dalia is a serial fundraiser who played a
pivotal role in the establishment of the investment arm of American University in Cairo. She also
has broad experience in entrepreneurship, business strategy and retail business. Dalia is a venture capital partner at DEN Venture Capital, angel investor and board member of fast-growing startups in various fields. Dalia is a Member and Business Mentor at the Association of Business Mentor (ABM) through the Help to Grow Government Scheme to support and mentor small businesses.
Not only is Dalia one of the leading climate change ambassadors accredited by the National
Institute of Governance and Sustainable Development in Egypt as well as the United Nations,
her passion for mentoring and influential public speaking started many years ago during her time as an instructor at the American University in Cairo School of Continuing Education and
continued to be manifested in her constant presence in experience-based events, educational
summits, and some of the most vital international organizations’ forums.
Dalia gained vast experience in retail business, manufacturing, trading, and marketing during her involvement in the family business at an early age. Dalia is a board member at Prime Foods, managing director of GFS for Logistics Solutions and cofounder of 3DEES.
